THE COMPANY PHAGE CONSULTANTS was initially created to help companies whose production is based on bacterial activities to fight and prevent bacteriophage infection.
Phage infections in bioprocesses threaten to be very destructive to company's productivity. Based on our extensive research, we propose various ways of assistance: from personnel training, through consulting and process optimization with respect to phage growth limitation, to assistance in developing new facilities. All scientists involved in Phage Consultants activities are experts in the field of bacteriophage biology with special emphasis on bacteriophages in bioprocesses.
Based on our broad experience, we now also offer assistance in eradication and prevention of other types of contaminations in all types of bioprocesses.
Due to frequent inquiries, we introduced a contract research service in all aspects of bacteriophage use in various fields of biotechnology, medicine, food and crop protection etc. Our extensive expertise in phage biology research helps us deliver high quality results in relatively short time and at competitive prices. We also offer contract phage manufacturing and phage purification services.

Contaminations are one of the major threats in bioprocesses. If contamination occurs, it may result in a complete paralysis of facility's productivity. Although even the best protection does not guarantee that no contamination problems will occur, better prepared facility will recover faster, and the contamination will not turn into an outbreak.
